TOKYOを飛び出し、1泊2日の旅へ出かけました。羽田空港から飛行機で約2時間、向かったのはグルメタウン福岡県。
I went on a trip for one night and two days. It took about 2 hours by plane from Haneda Airport to go to Fukuoka, a city well-known for delicious food.
新年号「令和」のゆかりの地として注目が集まる太宰府へ行ってきました。一本裏路地を入ったところに静かに佇むカフェを発見。
I went to Dazaifu in Fukuoka, the birthplace of the book where the Reiwa Era got its name. On a quiet backstreet just off the main road is a cafe.
取り壊し予定だった古民家をリノベーションしたお店は、真ん中のお庭をぐるりと囲むように建っています。大きな窓から差し込む日光とお庭の緑が、とっても心地いい。
They renovated an old house that is centered around a garden. The greenery and the sunlight feels good.
どこに座っても絵になるけど、私のお気に入りはお庭向きの席。ゆったりと静かな時間が流れています。
Every corner of the cafe is picturesque, my favorite seat is facing the garden. The time moves slowly and quietly.
「流行に左右される街の中心ではなく、ゆっくりと自分のペースで続けたいと思って太宰府にお店を出しました」とオーナーの古賀さんは言います。
The owner Ms. Koga said “I opened a shop in Dazaifu, instead of the busy city center, so that I could continue living at my own pace.”
おすすめは、すり鉢でスパイスを潰してペーストから手作りする「グリーンカレー」。油は使わず、ココナッツミルクでコクを出しています。
My recommendation is the homemade green curry with fresh spices. They use coconut milk instead of oil.
毎日お店で焼いている焼き菓子「comum」は、ハーブやスパイスを使ったちょっぴり大人の味。お土産にもぴったりです。
They bake homemade cookies every day with herbs and spices. They are great as souvenirs.
緑いっぱいの古民家カフェで、素敵なおもてなし。お腹も心も満腹です。ごちそうさまでした〜。
The greenery, the atmosphere, and the hospitality left me with both a full stomach and heart. Thank you.
